BABSCON 2024 Information and Booking

I will be attending BABSCON 2024 to tattoo my fellow My Little Pony fans! Please read through this information for booking info, FAQs and more! BOOKING STATUS: CURRENTLY OPEN

I will be available to tattoo BABSCON attendees Friday the 29th, Saturday the 30th, and Sunday the 31st of March 2024 during vendor hall hours. I only offer custom work if you pre-book BEFORE the convention. I am not able to do custom work at the convention. If I have time for walk ups and my schedule isn’t full before the convention, I will have my flash book with me that you may choose a design from. You MUST BE 18 OR OLDER to get tattooed - these are real, actual tattoos.

FAQ

Q: What do I need to get tattooed at BASBCON?

A: A valid state issued ID with photo, or valid current passport with photo.

Q: What do I need to do for my appointment?

A: Please be five minutes early to fill out paperwork. Please be showered, and wear clothing that will allow EASY access to the area being tattooed - IE: a racerback tank top to get shoulder blade tattooed, a tank top for outer arm to be tattooed, a pair of comfortable shorts at an appropriate length (or loose enough to move easily out of the way) to get legs tattooed, open top flats/slippers to get top of foot tattooed etc etc. Please do NOT show up with a tight fitting long sleeve shirt to get your upper arm tattooed, for example. Make sure an hour or two before the appointment, you have eaten a FULL meal, and are well rested and well hydrated.

Q: What do I need to take care of my tattoo after its done? Will you provide any aftercare?

A: I do not have aftercare products available for purchase at the convention. My recommended products are Dial Gold Antibacterial soap, Hustle Butter or Tattoo Goo aftercare (PLEASE read ingredients to make sure they are appropriate for you) OR lubriderm unscented lotion and aquaphor ointment. I offer ALL clients a clear bandage option as well (Recovery Derm brand) but it will need to be changed (I provide second bandage dressing as well) after 24 hours so you WILL still need soap to wash the tattoo. I also HIGHLY recommend you get a single roll of paper towels, in order to dry off your tattoo after washing. DO NOT use bath towels or tissues. Detailed, written aftercare instructions can be provided upon confirmation of appointment, or printed out at the convention. Please be mindful about your tattoo healing during the convention and plan accordingly. You want to avoid wearing tight fitting clothing that will rub/chafe the new tattoo.

Q: How much is your rate, and how do you accept payment?

A: My hourly rate for the convention will be $200 per hour. I require a $100 deposit/booking fee to book a custom tattoo. DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE in case of cancellation/no call/no show. Deposits will count towards the total of the tattoo - for example, if you pay a $100 deposit and your tattoo costs $300 on the day it is completed, you will only owe another $200. Deposits are taken via Venmo. In person at the convention, I accept cash and Venmo. I cannot take credit/debit cards unless they are via Venmo. Tips are always welcome and appreciated, but not mandatory.

Q: Can i have a friend with me in the booth?

A: I have very limited space in the booth but could possibly have room for ONE person, if you feel you really need it. I would prefer it be only you. You CAN however bring a comfort item such as a fidget toy, stress ball, throw blanket (if you get easily cold) or stuffed animal (as long as it isn’t HUGE). No food or drink is allowed besides bottled water/water in a reusable vessel, and single serving wrapped candy if you need it.

Q: Can I take a break during the tattoo to use the restroom/catch my breath/take a moment from the pain?

A: Schedule allowing, yes! I take breaks once per hour to stand/stretch. During that time you may also take a short (5 mins or so) break to do what you need.
